Surgical Case Data - Terminated Case

A case will need to be terminated when the incorrect patient has been checked in for a procedure that was not scheduled for that day.

  1. After the incorrect patient has been Checked-In, click Document and select Terminate.

  2. The Terminate Document window appears.

  3. Select SN – Interrupted Case.

  4. Click OK.

  5. The Confirm Termination window appears

  6. Click Yes.

  7. Close the patient’s chart.

  8. The procedure will need to be rescheduled to the correct time and date. Refer to the ‘Rescheduling a Checked In Case’ QuickStart.
