Important information for any patient whose care is shared between facilities at the Randwick Campus e.g. RHW/ POW patient who is admitted to SCH for surgery
Alerts
- Alerts are only available in the eMR in which they were entered.
- Any alerts added since 1 June 2019 must be entered in both SESLHD & SCHN eMRs.
- Alerts that are specifically part of blood bank processes should be viewed directly in SESI ‘Patient Product Inquiry' (available in the AL window)
Pathology and Medical Imaging Results
Pathology and Imaging results are only visible in the eMR from which they were ordered. To view results ordered in SESI eMR, either login to SESI eMR, or from SCHN eMR, access the eHealth Record link on the Paediatric / Anaesthetic / Oncology / Nursing View screen under the yellow eHealth widget at the bottom right.
Blood Products and Group & Hold
- SESI 'Patient Product Inquiry’ (PPI) should be used to view 'Group & Hold' screening status for any patient which is involved in shared care across the Randwick Hospitals Campus. This is important as results are only visible in the eMR from which they were ordered, whereas PPI will show results irrespective of where they were ordered.
PPI can also be accessed directly from the toolbar in PowerChart/ FirstNet/SurgiNet:
