The SCHN Portal allows staff access to core hospital applications and resources. The Portal is available to all SCHN staff using a device connected to the NSW Health Network, or via the internet for staff with VPN access.

You will need to register for VPN access prior to accessing the Portal via the internet. Further information is available here.

You will need to install and Download Citrix Workspace App:
- for MAC
- for Windows
Logging into Portal
- Access Portal in any browser using this link - https://portal.schn.health.nsw.gov.au
- Enter your network username and password (click Accept to the Conditions Of Access disclaimer
3. If you are accessing this from outside the SCHN Network, you will be prompted to approve access from your device or enter a Imprivata Token
OR
Using the Portal
- Click on APPS at the top of the window to display all applications
- Use the Star function to mark your favourites, which will appear on your Home page.
3. Applications can also be located using the category tiles
4. Each tile will display different apps
5. If you cannot find an app use the magnifying glass to search.
6. Type the name of the app and the results will be displayed
Configure Portal on Google Chrome
- In Portal StoreFront click the cog icon
Note: Click Cancel to the prompt, Open Citrix Workspace Launcher
- Click Account Settings
- In the Advanced Settings click Install Citrix Receiver
- Click Detect Receiver
- Click Cancel to the prompt Open Citrix Workspace Launcher
- Click Already Installed
- Go back to your apps or desktop and launch one of them e.g. PowerChart or AppBar
- This will download the ICA file. Click on the arrowhead next to this then select Always open
