Retrieving your Extension Voicemail messages - CHW

This document is for staff working at The Children's Hospital Westmead. In order to retrieve messages in your voicemail first setup and program calls to be forwarded to voicemail. 

Retrieving Voicemails from your Extension

When your message wait light is lit, you have voice mail. 

  • Press Message icon on your device and follow screen prompt

OR

  • Lift handset & dial **
  • Enter your security code (3 to 10 digits) if required and follow the Voicemail prompts
  • Press *** to hang up

Calling Voicemail from another extension in CHW

  • Dial ** or MWI
  • When prompted for a security code, press *2#
  • Enter 9 followed by your Extension number
  • Enter your security code (if required)

 

Calling Voicemail externally or working from home

  • Call the voicemail number 984 53911
  • Enter 9 followed by your Extension No.
  • Enter your security code (if required)

       

Options at the end of each message:

# - Repeat the message

0 - Save message as new

6 - Delete a message

7 - Archive a message

8 - Hear when the message was sent

9 - Redirect the message
